The Royal Academy of Sciences and Letters welcomes new members

The new members of the Royal Academy’s Humanities and Social Sciences class have now been announced.

In December, the Royal Academy had the pleasure of welcoming nine new members. The following researchers have been elected:

Professor Morten Bennedsen, INSEAD and University of Copenhagen, Department of Economics

Professor Dorthe Berntsen, Aarhus University

Professor Michael Fjeldsøe, University of Copenhagen, Department of Arts and Cultural Studies

Professor Morten Axel Pedersen, University of Copenhagen

Professor Ning de Coninck-Smith, Danish School of Education (DPU), Aarhus University

Professor John Earl Joseph, Edinburgh University

Professor Makoto Murai, Waseda University, Tokyo: Historical Institute for European Civilization (HIEC)

Professor Morten H. Christiansen, the William R. Kenan, Jr., Professor of Psychology, Dept. of Psychology, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York

All elected members for 2021 belong to the Academy’s Humanities and Social Sciences class. In 2022, members for the Academy’s Science class will be elected.
